The lockdown due to COVID 19 in India is extended till 3^rd May 2020 and everyone is trying their best to fight against Corona Virus by maintaining social distancing. Namrata Aikonic has also geared up in this fight and is setting an example of how societies can carry social distancing and isolation on a larger scale. Aikonic Society Committee has declared a set of rule regarding social distancing and self isolation, which is being followed by all the residents.

Main gate of the society is locked and will remain so until the lock down is over. Only the ones with an emergency will be allowed to go out in which case specifying the reason to the gate security guard will be mandatory. Vehicles without the resident pass/sticker will not be let in. Residents are advised to not invite any relatives or friends until after the lock down is over.
News paper and milk services are not allowed to enter into the premises. All home delivery services including couriers and food delivery services will not be allowed to enter into the premises.  All residents are requested to come down and carry out all such transactions/exchanges at the main gate. Use of sanitizer is advised in such cases.

All the lifts/elevators will remain inoperative.  Children and elderly residents are not allowed come down in the common areas of the society.

Local vegetable vendor is arranged on certain day for a certain time period so that the residents will not need to go to the market for essentials.

Residents are requested to ask their house help/maids to go on leave until the lock down is over.  Any formal or informal gathering in the society premises is strictly prohibited. Morning and evening walks in the premises are strictly prohibited. Spitting in the premises is strictly prohibited.

Apart from this, the premises are being disinfected time to time with the help of various disinfectant sprays.

Police van has also been visiting the society as well as the locality to supervise the isolation practices.

Ecocity 2.0 family has also stepped up

Supporting the isolation practices during this pandemic. The committee at Ecocity 2.0 has also started disinfecting the common area frequently to prevent the spread of COVID 19.

Amenities like children play area, garden, club house, swimming pool, etc. have been sealed for use during the lock down.

A local vegetable vendor has also been arranged to help residents with vegetables and fruits.

Self isolation is a process that if carried out on a larger scale, can help to overcome community spread of the hazardous infectious disease –Corona Virus.
